Madhouse | Event Invitation Card [E]

Hi there! 👋🏼
Firstly, I just wanted to clarify that this isn't a client project or any contractual work. I always love using my skills in my daily life, whether it's creating aesthetically-designed stories on Instagram, organising my Spotify playlists, or even just thinking of ways to improve the user experience of my hostel room. I enjoy applying my visual and UX skills to the real world in real-time.
|| Don't study design books if you want to be a better designer. Instead, Study sculpture. Study paintings. study cars, watches, philosophers, movies, friction, music, and people. Study the world ||
For those individuals who are in a rush 🏃🏼
This small task for all of you, spot me in the above pic :)
Anyway, the reason I'm sharing this with you is that I recently designed a unique event invitation card for my seniors who were leaving college. We organised a farewell party for them, and I thought it would be a fun and creative idea to invite everyone in this way. In the form of a Ticket. Hope you like it!

After working on several projects over the past two years, I've realised one thing for sure when I have an emotional connection to a project or when it holds personal value to me, I can be more creative and express myself more freely.

Invitation Back
So, the back page was pretty standard and common for everyone, but I really wanted to add some personal and emotional touches to it. So, I take my friends' help to write down by their best moments in the form of keywords and daily words in their own handwriting that we spent with them. We put a lot of thought into every little detail, from the colours to the fonts that we used in this card.

If you come across any words that sound a bit rude, abusive, or unprofessional, no worries! We're not trying to hurt or disrespect anyone here. It's just between us - between engineers, hostelers, and if you're a young Indian professional, you've probably experienced this before in a positive way at some point in your career, right?

Moreover, It's difficult to explain everything right now in this public project like why we use this type of font or this colour pellet. Since I still have a year left to complete my degree, I'm gonna leave it up to you guys. I'm sure you're all mature enough to decode it and appreciate it:)
Invitation Front
Tool Used: Figma, ProCreate
Assets: Pinterest, DA Fonts
Duration: 3-4 hours
Number of Revisions: 2
So, Alright, so the back part's got our classic pic, from when we all went out for a job treat. There's one of all us Madhouse guys and all juniors, but we're still missing two. It's still pretty close though, so I picked it. Then there's this fancy text called "Madhouse Farewell". It's a combo of different fonts, assets, and textures for each letter. And finally, we assigned unique names for each senior, starting with the same letter as their name. Like Shaana Saboo, Natkhat Nikku, Pagal Pandey, Ziddi Zayaan, Shant Sunny, Nikamma Nikhil and BadASS Bhura.

That's all from this sweet invitation card. I hope you like it. I'd appreciate any feedback you have and I'd love to read your comments.
Crafted with love❤️
