"I HOPE I’M THE TORTOISE" tells the story of HR Director at Netflix Aaron Craig Mitchell who decided to write a memoir where he makes an analogy to a race, like the book The Tortoise and the Hare; making the structure of each part the representation of a circuit. Within each loop, the chapters will be events and stories from different periods of the Author's life. I had the task of creating illustrated characters that had the same physical characteristics and mannerisms as the character Aaron in different stages of his life. I had ideas inspired from some animation styles like Boondocks, Arcane and super shock.
"I HOPE I’M THE TORTOISE" conta a historia do Diretor de RH da Netflix Aaron Craig Mitchell que decidiu escrever um livro de memórias onde faz analogia a uma corrida, como o livro A Tartaruga e a Lebre; tornando a estrutura de cada parte a representação de um circuito. Dentro de cada volta, os capítulos serão eventos e histórias de diferentes períodos da vida do Autor. Tive a função de criar personagens ilustrados que tivessem a mesma características físicas e trejeitos do personagem Aaron em diferentes estágios de sua vida. Tive ideias inspiradas a partir de alguns estilos de animações como Boondocks, Arcane e super shock.
