Laura Doud - A City Auditor
Laura Doud is the City Auditor of Long Beach, leading an office that conducts independent audits to improve the community. Her recommendations have resulted in changes to the City Charter and Municipal Code, bringing additional revenues and improved services. She championed the passage of Proposition H, bringing in over $52 million for public safety. Her Office has received nationally award-winning audits, focusing on effective and efficient government. Doud is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner, and an active member of her community.
