As part of a brief to regenerate an area of York, this table was designed to be placed within interior or exterior communal areas to entice interaction and positive moods. The troughs inserted into all 4 legs can home plant-life, issueing a taste of natural ecology that appeals to us.
With space-saving in mind, the table is designed to accomodate users without taking as much extra space as a generic table. This is achieved by the cut out section where each person sits - bringing them further into the middle.
