My name is Janet (Jan) Carpenter and I am a third year AMD (Art Media and Design) Major in the Digital Media Arts Program at CSUSM. I am 20 years old and I am a big fan of storytelling, whether its a book, movie, painting, picture, song or any other medium. My favorite medium to work with is photography. I am a fan of the way film photography looks so you will see me trying to recreate film aesthetics with digital photography as well. I enrolled in this class so I can get re-familiar with the DSLR and continue to improve upon my skills. This photograph was challenging for me to take because I am used to being behind the camera when shooting. It did not turn out as great as I wanted it to, so I am eager to refine my skills within the camera and in Lightroom Classic.
