Climbing in Presena glacier
The Presena glacier is located at the Tonale Pass, on the border between Lombardy and Trentino-Alto Adige. It is home to a variety of mountain activities, including rock climbing. Here, we climbed one of the slopes that is usually covered in snow in winter. Experiencing the same mountain in different times of the year helps me to connect with it.
Climbing is one of the most intimate relationships that you can have with nature. You can touch it, feel it, smell it, and hear it. You can feel the coldness of the rock, the sharpness of the edges. It's always like the first time.
