The Reader is a self-portrait that was created on Illustrator. I created it for my Graphic Design II class. I choose to go with a simple pastel background to make the dark hair and various skin tones stand out better. I enjoyed creating a self-portrait that captured me doing one of my favorite things, reading.

The Reader was accepted into the Lewis and Clark Student Art Show in the Spring of 2023
