Skaters tend to find new spots and often end up at the places, which are totally inappropriate for skating at first sight. There is a lot of old buildings in Russia,
which are related to the architectural Soviet era. Quite often it’s a wide
open-space that occurs to be perfect for skating due to its ascents
and edges. A skater looks alien against the background of an
old house, however it gives a new life to the spot.
I like to observe how these places are changing over time.I notice how old, frozen in time locations, suddenly come to life and get a new completely different meaning - now this spot and the place (of action) is an origin of a new living culture.
