I'm Sebastian Rizkalla, and I took on an exciting photography assignment focusing on diptychs and triptychs, diving into the realm of artistic exploration. For the triptych, I carefully played with vibrant and contrasting colors, doing this at a friend's place which added a cozy touch to the whole process.
On the other hand, the diptych unfolded in the rugged beauty of Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. While originally planning to capture my friend against the night sky in a doorway, we stumbled upon a captivating shot - an intriguing shack without a door. This discovery blended seamlessly into the story I wanted to tell.
I was driven to take on this artistic journey to experiment with light, color, and to step into unfamiliar places. This venture allowed me to break free from traditional artistic confines, resulting in captivating expressions and a deeper artistic understanding.
