This project was aimed to design a "Zine" with a topic of choice. I chose to create a pocket size Camping 101 guide. This Zine focuses on camping basics and incorporates check lists to ensure you've got what you need on your adventure. Bonus tips are also included in this fun sized camping checklist.

As somebody who loves the outdoors and REI, I was inspired by those spaces. I drew inspiration from the many beautiful places I've visited along with the many brands I love that are found at REI. I chose more natural, yet bold, color palettes and organic textures to emphasize the outdoor feel. I wanted it to be playful and reminiscent of National Parks. I chose the dotted lines, wavy illustrations and abstract shapes to represent maps and abstract shapes found in nature.
