Inktober is a great place to try something new and this year was no different.

I felt the official prompt list for 2023 could be worked into a narrative, so I built a short story around that first.

The inktober posts would then be the sequential art that matched the narrative I was trying to create.

I sketched out thumbnails of the compositions I wanted to see how it would work as a collection of images.

This project also offered a chance to learn and use Procreate for the first time. I kept the colour palette simple so I could focus on getting comfortable with using the software to get my ideas down as quickly as possible.

The narrative could definitely be improved upon but I am happy with what I managed to do in the time available.
