Hello there, this is a concept collaboration with the art of Sol LeWitt with his art style of a new line of SWATCH designs. While making these designs there were four goals I wanted to achieve if these were actually advertised in the real world.
These four goals were making 3 unique designs of SWATCH that capture the simplistic but unique art style of Sol Le Witt, email notification advertising the new designs, a box design that the SWATCH will be in for this collaboration, and a poster that in a environment for people to see.
As you can see above this is an email notification on a smart phone. I tried to keep it simple but also tried my best to advertise SWATCH and Sol LeWitt. As the user would scroll down they would see more information about not only the Collaboration but also more info of Sol LeWitt and his works. There would be separate links for different parts of the website of swatch.
On the left we have my three concepts of swatch designs. I wanted to have a variety of different shapes and colors when designing these. What Sol LeWitts work was best known for was utilizing the simplistic shapes overlaying them on top of other shapes to give it a three dimensional look. On the right we have the SWATCH x Sol LeWitt box that each SWATCH will be packaged in.
Finally we arrive at the poster. This poster would be used to advertise the collaboration around malls, busy sidewalks in cities, and/or bill boarded. Overall Im really happy how these designs turned out and how this collaboration fits well together even if a concept.
