Tea in India is not just a mere drink, but an emotion - & that is exactly what Team Chaika wanted conveyed through the packaging design. Each flavour's nomenclature is based in its local Indian parlance - Masala Tea becomes Bombay Cutting & Lemongrass Tea - Firingi Chai.
This is precisely where I drew inspiration from for its brand identity. Amalgamating it with typography & design elements from old Hindi movie posters, we devised the boxes & sachets for Chaika's six instant tea mixes.
