A clay sculpture of a hare whose fur is made from pieces of the plant lavender.

The concept was inspired by the fact that hare's are one of the very few animal that eat lavender.

In order to make the fur of the hare I used pieces of real lavender plants to add the texture.

Unfortunately the bright colors of the plants naturally faded before I could get the opportunity to properly photograph the piece.
