Chipotle Burrito Resume

My Chipotle Burrito Resume

I wanted to stand out as Lauren-Ashley not just number 127 in a stack of resumes. The company's job listing stated that the type of person they were looking for enjoys the Office, Chipotle burritos, movies and more.
I came up with the idea to print my resume on a t-shirt because the company prints shirts, but I wanted to go beyond that and present the T-Shirt in a creative and memorable way. I decided to wrap the shirt in aluminium foil like a burrito. I hand lettered a bag to look like the ones Chipotle has and made my cover letter look like a Chipotle receipt and mailed it in a hand lettered shipping box.

This was the most fun I had putting together an application and doing lots of research at Chipotle was a plus.
I hand lettered one of my favorite quotes and had it printed on the front of the T-Shirt.
I had my resume printed on the back of the T-Shirt.
I hand letterd fun facts about who I am as a person and a graphic designer.
I used hand lettering and illustration to show my creativity and skills beyond graphic design.
I hand lettered my logo and name on the shipping box.
I hand lettered the words and arrows on the side of the box.
I lined the envelope with Chipotle's tissue paper to keep the consistency throughout.
Hand lettered thank you.
Thank you letter was placed in a paper brown envelope. I painted the edges of the flap a metallic copper.
