02 Editorial Design: Photography | REDO
Brief summary
Design a horizontal layout that visually narrates a story emphasising one or more of the visual qualities—shape, texture, pattern, colour, and tonal values. This sequence should unfold as an abstract piece, devoid of an overt storyline. The intention is to create a composition that is immediately comprehensible, where the visual sequence is not constrained by a literal plot.
In crafting this narrative, the task involves not only capturing and editing photographs but also curating a conceptual storyline for the viewer, achieved solely through the medium of photography.

- For printing: Jpeg file, sRGB colour profile, 300 DPI, dry-mounted flush to white mounting board. The canvas height is 250mm and each photo needs to have a height of 190mm. The width of each photo will depend on the aspect ratio in which the photo is cropped/shot.

Redo rationale
The final image in the series lacked the desired dynamic feeling. Unlike the others, it failed to convey a sense of movement. In response, I decided on a re-shoot and capture a photo that retained the series' overall feeling while introducing a sense of motion.
Following the re-shoot, several options were available for consideration. To identify the most effective combination, I experimented with various possibilities. The chosen image, distinguished by the motion captured in the subject's hair, emerged as the most compelling option.
