Founded by a team of african enthusiasts, the African Games and Arts Fest (Afrigaf) aims to explore the african culture, arts and heritage for global promotion, relevance and appreciation. They are on a journey to redefine the african culture to fit into the 21st century lifestyle and beyond.

They host annual events and competitions that feature memorable games and entertainment of the African people.

I was tasked with handling the branding project for their 2022 event tagged "The Masked Genius".

I developed a look that embodied the spirit of Africa by incorporating a touch of modernism with a variety of afro patterns, all in keeping with the brief and the overall goal of the brand.

It was crucial to maintain consistency across all of the brand's components. I made sure that the clothing and merch matched by using a set of afro patterns and zigzag lines that were consistent.
