Japanese Notan is an art style that forms images with knockouts from cut paper. I decided to create a scene of two rabbits playing in the forest. 

My notan idea sketches done in pencil. They depict rabbits playing in a forest, a cow and her calves and a game of rock paper scissors.

I used this sketch to finalize what I was going to include in my final Notan.
