Task: redesign already existing style into modern forms

Finding the roots of scandinavian folklore traditions and crafts as the attachment point, we started the journey through diversity of patterns so unique and one of a kind, but timeless at the once. 
That drove us to bigger forms of hand-made everyday use objects. Then further to astonishingly functional designs and beauty of their pure minimalistic forms.
Folk is extract of those values in our own unrepeatable way.
