The illustration was based on old diver helmets. I first drew it in pencil on paper, then refined the sketch in Procreate. After this I started to work on the colors and textures. I like to reduce my colors to mimic classic screenprinting. The added textures add more life to the illustration.
This is the refined sketch I made in Procreate. I used photos and 3D Models as a reference for the drawing.
