The project aims to design a City Store for Uniqlo in Shanghai, integrating brand culture with unique urban characteristics. Under the context of new retailing, Uniqlo plans to upgrade their commercial space holistically, from commodities, services

To explore the potential of the offline commercial space, as an indispensable part of new retailing, requires integrating brand culture with unique urban characteristics to meet the demand of personalized shopping experience of urban consumers, to convey brand culture and commodities' value more accurately as well.
