TURTLE AMAZING ANIMALS
These are my final designs for the amazing animals topic. For this topic I had to design four types of drawings (encyclopedic, logo, gesture, and transformation) on an animal of my choice. I chose a turtle because they are a detailed animal and I thought I could use that to create many different ideas.
These are my some of my rough drafts in this project which include the original photo, some logos, a few gestures and my best transformations going left to right.
These are my final designs for the amazing animals topic.

- Top left: This is my encyclopedic drawing which I did by doing a graphite transfer. This includes using tracing paper, shading and harsh lines to create the detail of the turtle.

- Top right: This is my logo which I did using micro pens, tracing paper and a mix of sharpie and ink pens. I wanted to leave open space in the logo to highlight the detail in the turtles body.

- Bottom left: This is my gesture which I did using an ink pen. This was a simple design but I added all the detail which I found important or noticed first when looking at the original photo.

- Bottom right: This is my transformation which I did using sharpie and micro pens. I chose to do a waffle turtle because I wanted to keep the shell as the focus point in the design. This to me is the most important part of a turtle as it is their home.
