Minimalistic page for large advertising agency with dripping milk on the main page.
Assignment
Create a minimalistic site for an advertising agency. Practically no text information except the descriptions of projects is expected. Descriptions of projects are loaded in a graphic way (first of all GIF / JPG had been considered, but after all SWF was used) Dripping milk: the mainpage shows area for meditation: infinitely dripping drops of milk (looping videoclip). The visitor of the site can enjoy the calmness of milk and when it begins to bother him he can pass to worksection using the contextual menu. Contextual Menu: The menu with the work list appears near to the mouse click. For this feature we have nicknamed it “contextual” though it does not depend on a context. At occurrence of the menu the background gets smoothly blurred.
Works
There can be three kinds of work: pictures, video or flash clips. The description of works is equipped with flash clips. If the work represents a video, the video’s playing begins on clicking the big button in the centre. For rewinding of works one needs to click the left (back) or right (forward) screen part. Minimalized navigation was the customer’s major wish, which led to the occurrence of the hiding menu, the scroll area, which only appeared on prompting of the mouse and finally the rewind buttons appearing only if the mouse moves to the left or the right area of the screen.
