Three years ago, amidst the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic, I undertook a Graphic Design project focused on Poster Design. Driven by my admiration for Arabic culture and the Arab world, I chose to integrate a common element from the Mediterranean region: falconry. Given its popularity among affluent Arabs in the Middle East, who engage in raising falcons and hunting with them, I decided to craft a poster that pays homage to this cultural practice.
The design of the poster is characterized by simplicity and minimalism. The main subject is accentuated by a distinctive color, ensuring it stands out prominently against the overall backdrop. Deliberate consideration was given to the typography, incorporating both English and Arabic elements strategically.
This project was a deliberate effort to capture the essence of a revered cultural tradition while adhering to design principles that emphasize clarity and visual impact.
