'Growth'는 식물이 성장하는 모습에서 영감을 받아 디자인된 모듈식 플랜테리어 선반입니다. 사용자의 목적과 취향에 맞게 모듈을 결합하여, 높이와 형태를 다양하게 조절할 수 있습니다. 선반 사이의 간격을 충분히 두어, 아래쪽의 선반도 충분히 햇빛을 받을 수 있도록 디자인하였습니다
'Growth' is a modular plant shelf designed with inspiration from the way plants grow. Users can customize the modules to fit their purposes and preferences, allowing for various height and shape adjustments. The spacing between the shelves is intentionally designed to be wide enough, ensuring that even the plants on the lower tiers receive ample sunlight.
Design Idea
식물이 자라는 모습을 관찰해보면, 일정한 규칙을 가지고 반복되면서도 그 리듬이 변주되며 유기적으로 자라납니다. 이러한 식물의 모습은 공간에 생동감과 에너지를 주게 됩니다. 'Growth' 는 성장하는 식물의 모티프를 가구에 적용시켜 모듈형 선반을 제작하여, 기존의 모듈형 가구의 단조로움을 탈피하고 식물과 인간이 공존할 수 있는 가구의 모습을 제안합니다.
Observing the growth of plants reveals a fascinating pattern—a rhythmic repetition with nuanced variations, creating an organic and dynamic presence. This natural motif, with its vitality and energy, inspired the creation of a modular shelf for furniture. By applying this motif to the design, we aimed to break away from the monotonous nature of conventional modular furniture. Our goal was to present a furniture piece that transcends the uniformity of modular designs, offering a vision where plants and humans coexist harmoniously within the living space.
Assembly
'Growth'는 콘크리트 베이스, 나뭇가지 파이프 유닛(L, Y, F)과 길이 연장 파이프, 선반 유닛(S, M, L)으로 구성되어 있습니다. 이 유닛들을 조립하여 다양한 형태로 사용할 수 있습니다. 식물이 성장하여 화분의 수가 늘어나면, 그에 맞추어 선반을 확장시킬 수 있습니다.
'Growth' consists of a concrete base, tree branch pipe units (L, Y, F), length extension pipes, and shelf units (S, M, L). These units can be assembled in various configurations, providing versatility in usage. As your plants grow, increasing the number of pots, the shelves can be expanded accordingly to accommodate the growing collection.
