Saifee Burhani Upliftment Trust is working to improve the lives of all the residents within the Bhendi Bazaar locality.
Every evening during the month of Ramadan, the streets are buzzing with activity as people hop from stall to establishment relishing the Iftaar delicacies. While Mohammed Ali Road is the most visited area during this period, Bhendi Bazaar has its own special meal spots that are not as well-known.
We wanted to change that perception with the Bhendi Bazaar Food Walk!
We partnered with well-known food bloggers to lead a walk around the locality of Bhendi Bazaar, giving people a chance to taste the local flavours while recording their experiences.
To conclude the activity, we created an Instagram grid highlighting the spots people visited on the walks, giving our audience a chance to recreate it for themselves.
