Photo Diary: Jan 9-15, 2024

I chose these subjects because I wanted to capture what my days look like on a regular basis. I tried to take photos of the mundane scenes that I encounter all the time.
The composition technique that I utilized the most in these photos was the rule of thirds, placing the main focus of the image in one of the thirds of the frame.
The thing I like about these photos is that they aren't interesting to me. They are things I see all the time, it was interesting to attempt to find appealing shots in scenes that have become monotonous to me.
A challenge I found while completing this project was remembering to take photos at times when I would normally never think about taking a photo at all.
From this exercise I learned more about appreciating the things that I do all the time. It helped me to remember to be grateful of the life I get to live.
