Mural | NAMCOR 'Namibia to the Core'

Mural • NAMCOR 'Namibian to the Core'
I was commisioned by NAMCOR (National Petroleum Corporation of Namibia) to create a public mural for the company, encouraging brand recognition and awareness while adding public art to the city. The design brief was to combine elements of the industry (oil, gas, lubricants) with Namibian socio-cultural elements that represents the country and it's people, in the warm and bright brand colours of NAMCOR. The focal point of the mural is the quote: "Namibian to the Core" which plays on the name NAMCOR, and uses their logo symbol as the 'O' of the word 'Core'.

This mural spans roughly 10 metres wide and 2 metres tall and is located next to the very busy Mandume Ndemufayo Avenue in the capital city of Windhoek, Namibia.

A big thank you to my painting assistants on this project - Bianca and Geneva.
