Location: Botanical garden "Jevremovac", Belgrade;

The goal of the project task was to activate a part or the whole botanical garden with an appropriate intervention. After visiting the location and gathering impressions, the intervention area was chosen in the northernmost part of the garden, near Despot Stefan Boulevard. The question of the project was how to intervene in a space where nature has priority?

Architectural forms were implemented in the corners of the garden through conceptual elaboration, later defined by the purposes of the cafe and the research and scientific center. These two forms were connected by intertwined paths, gardens and greenhouses that functioned on the principle of a geometrized mosaic. The contents implemented in the final solution were aimed at increasing the attendance of the garden and strengthening its role in the world of botany. Laboratories, exhibition pavilions, lecture halls and offices are grouped together in the north-eastern part of the garden in order to achieve a connection with the outside through an economic entrance. In the very volume of implementations, the concept is emphatically penetrating as the main principle of architectural formation.
