Building extension
For this task I was asked to find a house on Google maps and make an extension by making some technical drawings and some sketches.
Here is the location and a picture of the house I will be giving an extension to. My plan is to convert the garage roof to an upstairs extension ensuring I stay in the style of the existing house.
In order to get an idea of what I am working with I designed a sketch so that I can scan it onto my computer for me to add the changes to the house and add some more precise detail.
After I had scanned the drawing and did some changes to make it more clear this is the result which achieved my objective.
After adding the extension above the garage and adding detail and a couple of other features this is how it turned out. Besides the extension I added some solar panels and some new longer-lasting roof tiles that were more beneficial. I also added some measurements to be sure about how big this extension will be compared to the rest of the home which is very helpful for the construction people to reference.
