Tras Bambalinas

 

Backstage is an ongoing series which explores the world behind the scenes of various fashion events such as Buenos Aires Fashion Week and several photo shoots with well-known Argentinean photographers.

 

It was both a challenge and a great exercise for me to attempt and create the best images possible since the aesthetics here displayed is totally different from what I’m used to. Mostly I shoot with various setups of flashes or other artificial light, and my style is highly packed with color and texture all over the image, but in this case all I had was my camera, a single prime lens and all the ambient light I could muster in order to create candid and sort of voyeuristic portraits and the use of black and white made me pay more attention to composition in shape rather than color.
