I eventually changed direction from the Jack concept to the typographic layout. I really leaned into the playing card color scheme as the transition from black text to white was a nice contract to showcase the words as they transitioned through the GIF. I really preferred this concept as it better told the story about how my design experience is balanced across a multitude of programs (the different card symbols) and nothing really stands out as a proficiency (master of none). 

The initial moodboard concept was to lean into the royalty of the playing card. I liked way this Jack was bold, but still visually interesting. The color scheme was originally playing into the high royalty color palate. The ethernet hub photo started leaning into the repetitive concept which was balanced but still told a strong story about the importance of organization. 

My 6 word memoir led me down a few different directions, either focused on repetition or typographic representation of my theme. While starting with the standard playing card concept, I tried a few iterations of letter placement, trying to focus on different layouts that would speak to knowing a little about everything in design, but not specializing in any one area.
