Kingston Lafferty Design were initially approached by Ecocem to design the brand and packaging of their new Ecocem Next Generation Cement 25kg bags, in order to broaden their target market, increase sales in both Ireland and the UK and develop a strong and recognisable brand. The design challenge was to adapt and develop the existing Ecocem branding so that it stood out in the highly competitive Irish UK cement market. The graphic design concept drew inspiration from the Swiss Graphic Design Style, focusing on simple typography and strong geometric shapes to form an impactful, clear identity. Kingston Lafferty Design’s
branding package has included promotional clothing and vehicles, exhibition stands, cement silos and all print marketing material for the company. Kingston Lafferty Design also completed the interior design and re-fit of the new Ecocem Offices in East Point Business Park which included furniture design and wall graphics.
