Alignment, equilibrium, wholeness, wellness: Janu is founded on the belief that the best things in life can also be the things that are best for the body and spirit. That we can facilitate a soul’s restoration by bringing them together in one magical setting.
The only hotel within the development – located in the Residence A Tower designed by visionary architects. Janu Tokyo introduces 122 light-filled rooms and suites, setting a new benchmark for standards of space, service and experience across its eight dining and socialising venues and paramount 4,000 sqm wellness centre – one of the city’s largest.
/ Symbology of the project
Janu, ‘soul’ in Sanskrit, has a history stretching back millennia. Mindfulness and a holistic approach to guest experience are timeless considerations that far surpass a hotel room.
As a designer, I chose to represent the branding with a Mandala. The philosophy behind it is to connect the spirit and body, creating a harmonious fusion.
