Carrera Va por Ellos | 8k Race

Overview: The 'Va Por Ellos' athletic event branding project is centered around a non-profit organization in Mexico. This event, designed to be fun and family-friendly, serves the purpose of raising funds to support families in need. My task was to transform this mission into a visual identity that would capture the vibrant and exciting essence of the running community and inspire more participants to join in this meaningful cause.
My approach involved thorough research, ideation, and execution. I opted for vibrant colors and dynamic elements to capture the spirit of the event: fun, confidence, and sportsmanship. This resulted in a visual identity that exuded energy and enthusiasm, enticing participants to join the race.

Print results: Printed designs included t-shirts, banners, medals, bib numbers, posters, certificates, and registration sheets. The biggest challenge was to ensure the inclusion of all sponsors' logos on each design prior to mass printing. Thanks to effective communication with the organizers and supervisors, this was successfully accomplished.

Social Media Designs: Most of the registrations for the event came from people who found out about it through social media. I was in charge of creating and scheduling a month's worth of content on Instagram and Facebook using Meta Business Suite, as well as adapting and scheduling it for X (formerly known as Twitter). My goal was to inform runners about the details of the race and entertain them with relevant content to keep the event top of mind throughout.
