The story of the product design and development of medieval-style armchairs began with a passion for classical furniture and contemplation of modern lifestyle needs. We delved into the armchairs of the medieval period, discovering that their unique lines and structural designs still hold appeal and practicality today. However, we also recognized some shortcomings in classical furniture regarding comfort and adaptability, which couldn't fully meet the demands of modern people.
Therefore, we decided to blend the classic elements of traditional armchairs with modern technology to create a medieval-style armchair that embodies both traditional charm and modern lifestyle. During the design phase, our team thoroughly researched the structure and details of classical armchairs using various hand-drawing and digital modeling tools, integrating them with modern materials and manufacturing techniques to enhance comfort and durability.
Throughout the development process, the team iterated on and optimized key parameters such as seat angle, armrest height, and back support to ensure user comfort. We also focused on detailed design, meticulously sculpting every curve and decoration to make the medieval-style armchair not only functional but also elegantly sophisticated in appearance.
During the prototyping and testing phases, we invited volunteers and professionals to experience and provide feedback on the chair, further refining the product. We iterated continuously until we achieved our design goal: a medieval-style armchair that combines classical aesthetics with modern living.
