This is me trying is a personal project that delves into self-acceptance, inspired by a transformative experience abroad.
The immersion in a culture different from my own has energetically unearthed unexplored aspects of my inner self, providing a comfortable space to confront and address intimate insecurities and personal fears.
In the project's planning phase, I carefully crafted a language to give form and visual expression to a collection of hesitant words gathered over time, preserving the original spontaneity and purity of the idea.
Through self-made illustrations and short intimate dialogues, the book portraits the vulnerabilities, challenges and triumphs inherent in the journey of self-acceptance and self-love. The goal of this project is to reach the end of the path through the sharing of it with the others, always leaving room for a considerable hope of being able to succeed it.
