For DDN 215, students were required to create an impossible looking scenario look real. For this assignment, I desired to create a composite where it seemed kangaroos were boxing in an arena will a full crowd. This required me to isolate the kangaroos in each image to import them into chosen background and create a foreground and background within the arena to place the kangaroos in the boxing match. Next, I created the kangaroos' shadows using pen tools and Gaussian blue while colorizing the kangaroos and the arena in a bluer dramatic scene to make the kangaroos fit into the composite more realistically. Finally, I used dodge and burn tools to create hard light, reflective light, mid-toned light, and shadows, and use blur effects to make it seem the camera's focus was on the kangaroos in the arena and blurring out the people in the background and the foreground.
