Since the summer of 2022, there is a significant increase in Guests using wagons in the park to transport children,  personal items or merchandise. Like strollers, Guests use wagons to transport children so there is a general interpretation they are permitted to enter.  However, SHDR’s park rules clearly state that some types of carriers are not permitted in the park.

With about 3,000 wagons in the park on peak days, there is a negative impact on safety, congestion, Guest experience, as well as conflicts with employees of the rental services that have emerged.

As the use of wagons in the Park increased it is imperative to take actions to reduce or eliminate the impact of safety, congestion, Guest experience and renters caused by wagons.
