VR exhibit of Frank Herbert sci-fi office concept

VR museum exhibit for Frank Herbert (author of Dune) sci-fi office concept to represent his life and his work.
I've created an immersive VR museum exhibit (for the Museum of Science Fiction in Washington, DC) celebrating the life and work of Frank Herbert, the visionary author behind the iconic Dune series. This is a sci-fi office concept that encapsulates his journey and contributions.
As you enter through a portal designed in the style of a spaceship, you're transported into a sci-fi space. The entire room is designed in the style of a building from Dune, made of sandstone, enhancing the experience of stepping into Herbert's world. Next to the left wall of the exhibit is Herbert's office table, adorned with a typewriter authentic to the era he worked in, evoking the essence of his creative process. A newspaper, a nod to his journalism background, adds depth to the narrative of his multifaceted career.
As you explore further, discover symbolic elements like grapes, representing Herbert's passion for vineries. A Bedouin-style throw blanket and robe offer a glimpse into the cultural inspirations woven into his literary tapestry.
Uncover Herbert's innovative spirit through exhibits showcasing his inventions, including a keyboard that revolutionized interaction and a Panemone windmill (which is animated), a visionary concept for sustainable energy generation.
This project incorporates my passion for 3D modeling, architectural design, immersive experiences, lighting, texturing, and virtual clothing, adding depth and realism to the virtual environment.
I hope you enjoy this journey through time and imagination, where the legacy of Frank Herbert's imagination continues to inspire and resonate with audiences worldwide.
Robe made in Marvelous Designer (stillsuit under the robe is not mine)
