I take up custom illustration commissions where the brief is to illustrate a memory or story, usually as a gift by the client on the occasion of a birthday, anniversary or celebration of something special. In these commissions, I give myself the challenge to make sure I'm able to capture the intimacy of the relationship or the characterization of the story.
