I always try to design my patterns in a way that makes cutting and sewing process easier.
The giraffe pattern was designed so that the ears and horns are cut-in-one with the head pieces to avoid dealing with tiny pieces and facilitate sewing. The tufts of hair on the horns are made of felting wool (roving), but they can be replaced with ready-made felt balls, pom poms, or beads.
