Entry for the V-Ray Anniversary Challenge: A Decisive Moment

 

A train tears through the countryside, plowing through a heard of witless cows. The ruthless determination of the locomotive is set against storms and fields of wheat, bringing a sort of crude irony to the ridiculous plight of the cows.

 

I’ve been wanting to do something like this for a while now, and I would say it’s a pretty Decisive Moment… if you’re the cow. I wanted the serious, painterly style to offset the absurd subject matter to create something a little more interesting.
