BROCHURE
The assigned project is to design a brochure for the recently launched phone by SAMSUNG GALAXY FLIP series GALAXY Z FLIP 5.
Following limitations were provided with the project :
Designing the brochure with the brand colours keeping it minimal yet elegant and classic.
Following A4 size.
Using tri-fold brochure.
Using Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign in harmony.
Samsung recently launched a new mobile catagory with its pioneering GALAXY SERIES. It's a smartphone that is flipable and pocket friendly.
Keeping the brand colours and fonts intact, the first hurdle was to come up with a striking cover for the brochure that would justify the product and it's unique feature. Creating a striking brand cover while maintaining consistent colors and fonts requires balancing clarity of message with visual impact, experimenting with color combinations, selecting fonts that convey your brand's personality, establishing a clear visual hierarchy, ensuring consistency with brand identity, understanding audience preferences, and considering technical constraints.
MOOD BOARD
The sleek design of the product helped in deciding the design approach for the brochure. The minimal style with limited colour palatte. The name GALAXY Z made me choose the Z-Fold Brochure.
Finalising on the orientation was the next step. Since, it was already decided to use the brochure folds in combination with the Galaxy Flip's feature, I needed enough surface area to get the exact fold with some spare space for the product's name.
