PLAY was the goal, cut things up, scan them in, scribble over them, turn it into a scarf, dance in them, take a bunch of photos, paste it all together.

On the lake’s edge, small shadowy demons wielded jagged leather whips and long rusted pitchforks to drive those souls desperately trying to scramble out of the pool back to its bubbling center. The yellow-eyed demon swivelled back toward the three men and two women staring back at him wide-eyed with horror. (A Short Stay in Hell - Steven L. Peck)
