Mission:
The founders of UNSERE APOTHEKE (lit. transl.: our pharmacy) - both with a doctorate and many years of professional experience - have taken the plunge into self-employment and want to open two stores with a focus on assistance and consulting. Their aim is to be there for local people. Easily accessible in shopping arcades and with long opening hours, they want to appeal to everyone equally and provide help and advice.

Problem | Goal:
The competitive situation is tough - both locally and online. The company has to stand out and at the same time wants to appeal to a diverse clientele and create trust. The focus is therefore on the northern home area that connects. At the same time, they want to stand in contrast to the 'old-fashioned' pharmacies and have a high recognition value, but correspond to the visual habits of the customers. An additional aspect is the practicability
of the logo in use and on different format sizes - from the receipt to the neon sign.







Outcome:
The choice fell on a typographic solution. The developed lettering UNSERE playfully refers to the North Sea and conveys a feeling of a home port for everyone. With regard to the elderly and impaired clientele, optimal readability was an important point in the development. The logo can be used in one or two rows to suit different areas of application.


Impact:
With this typographic solution, the company is not bound to any symbols, maintains neutrality and stands out from the appearance of traditional pharmacies. The small identity system creates a flexibility and offers an optimal basis and diverse possibilities for building a brand with recognition value.
