As a life long Marvel fan, Guardians of the Galaxy is one of my top 5 Marvel films of all time. A few years ago M.K. England released a book which was a prequel to the Guardians of the Galaxy game that came out a few years ago. I really enjoyed the book, however the cover was very boring in my eyes and just used the game cover, rather than having anything unique to it. Therefore I wanted to redesign the book cover.

Therefore I decided to create my own book cover/ design, starting with a new unique logo that I made along with artwork of the Guardians on the side. I went with a dark book being that the book was very dark in tone and I thought that this would look more visually interesting than what came before.

My outcomes would be an entirely new book cover.

Here I created my own logo, going for something more retro 80's styled and Sci-fi inspired.

Here I drew out an outline based off of the Milano Ship, which is what they flew in the movies and comics and then I started to add members of the team in such as Star Lord, Rocket Raccoon, Groot, Gamora and Drax.
