Sins and Virtues
For this assignment I chose between the seven sins or the seven virtues. I chose to do the seven virtues. I chose an overall theme for the virtues to be Garden/Flowers. Specificly using blue and yellow for the color palette. I started with finding different imagery from Unsplash and Pexels that went with the virtues; purity, self-restraint, patience, and kindness. I also used these websites for the front cover and back cover. For the virtues giving, diligence, humility I use a camera to create the images. I then went in and edited the images in Photoshop. After all my images were constructed how I saw fit, I placed them into InDesign. I made sure the images follow the correct layout of the template and changes the font to a Whitney sans. I added a copy describing what my thought process was for the seven virtues. Wants all the corrections were made I packaged my InDesign file and made a Heyzine flip book for the end of this page.
I chose this page as all of my favorites because I think it is a good quote to represent the virtue of self-restraint.
This is one of my favorite pages because I liked the outcome. I chose to do the Polaroids for my imagery and it ended up replacing well.
The last one I chose as one of my favorites was the page on the virtue, humility. I liked how this constructed image turned out.
