The assignment was to create a podcast cover using Photoshop, expanding on my existing typographic knowledge. I wanted to create a biblically-based cover because I listen to a lot of Christian podcasts. Isaiah 64:8 tells us that we are the clay, the work of God's hands, which is where the idea of "The Potter and the Clay" originates. The topic of this podcast is how God is forming and shaping us into who we were created to be. Bright, earthy colors that convey happiness and still incorporate clay tones are used in the podcast cover design. The line elements serve to unite all of the elements on the podcast cover. God is the potter and we are the clay.
