This shot was taken of a ferris wheel after dark at a local event. I thought it looked pretty lit up and I was interested to take some night-time shots, as I haven’t really taken many photos in low light before. I used a very high ISO (3200) and slow shutter speed (1/10sec) to achieve this. I really like how it picks up the colours in the not-quite-dark-yet sky, with the clouds in the background creating a dramatic look. Next time, I would also take some shots of the wheel moving to achieve creative motion-blur.
